Biography:

Deanna Lynn Hartman was born on September 15th, 1972 in Granada Hills, California. She was the youngest of 3 children. In July of 2012 Deanna was diagnosed with Stage 4B Cervical Cancer. Upon hearing that she was diagnosed with cancer, it was the biggest shock to everyone who knew and loved her. Without a doubt she was scared, everyone was, but she was the biggest fighter anyone ever knew.

Deanna never wanted to stop fighting; she had felt for so long she would beat it. Her mother, Virginia Cheatham even called her, 'Her Little Rocky' because of how determined Deanna was to win the fight against cancer. To her family and friends Deanna was known as a butterfly. She did whatever she wanted in life, went place to place, ventured through, and just loved to be alive and experience everything life had to offer her. Deanna loved her family and loved her friends; in fact negativity wasn't even in her vocabulary. Any negative connotation in the world could never apply to her. No Angel could compare to her warmth and spirit.

Deanna fought long and hard for about a year. She never gave up even when she could barely stand on her own, giving up wasn't in her. On June 9th, 2013 Deanna passed away in her big brother's home at the age of 40 with her family by her side to say goodbye. She is no longer in pain, she is peaceful, and she is with her father Bob in Heaven among the Angels and God as well. Deanna had fought so hard and for so long that God decided it was her time to go and no longer be in pain.

If anyone was ever asked to describe Deanna Hartman in a few words they couldn't, no matter how hard they tried. She was so many wonderful things; you could not simply define who she was. Deanna was a free spirit, a wonderful woman, beautiful, caring, charming, and beyond that Deanna was a beautiful and loving daughter, an amazing sister, great friend, loving aunt, and just the absolute best person to ever know. Anyone who knew her would say she was a beautiful person inside and out. More importantly, Deanna was an inspiration to the ones she loved and showed that no matter what to fight and always appreciate and love life. She lived her life to the fullest and will always have left a mark on everyone's lives she has touched.
